Terms & Conditions – Gift Certificate
Legal Effect: Jen R Us Hardware Company Limited, (hereinafter “Jen R Us”). The following terms and conditions shall apply to and form part of any “gift certificate / voucher” (these terms will be used interchangeably). Any additions and/or changes to the following terms must be expressly agreed to in writing by an authorised staff of Jen R Us.
Validity Period
The Gift Certificate is valid for use within 6 months from the date of issue, and expires thereafter.
Redemption
Present your certificate at either the Watchwell or Burnt Savannah stores to avail of goods or services up to the value stated on the back of the voucher.
The voucher is valid for a single transaction only.
The certificate can be redeemed for any item available at Jen R Us, subject to stock availability.
Refundable
All refunds are reimbursed payable by cheque to the “customer” as their name appears thereon.
The value of the certificate will be reimbursed if unused within 6 months of purchase.
All sales of gift certificates are final and cannot be exchanged for other merchandise.
No refunds will be provided for any unused portion of a gift certificate’s value.
Non-Transferable
All certificates are non-transferable and may only be used by the original recipient.
Transfer or resale of this certificate is strictly prohibited.
Redemption of all certificates are limited to the “bearer” whose name appears thereon.
Not Redeemable for Cash All Gift Certificates are solely for the purchase of goods and services, and are not redeemable for cash or allowable for cash withdrawal. No certificate has any intrinsic cash value.
Lost or Stolen Certificates
Jen R Us holds no responsibility for certificates that are lost or pilfered, and such certificates will not be replaced.
Remaining Balance
Any unused balance will not be returned or credited.
No cashback will be given if the purchase amount is less than the value of the Gift Certificate.
Should the total cost of your purchase exceed the gift certificate’s value, the bearer will be required to cover the difference with an alternative payment method.
Exclusions
A certificate cannot be used to purchase sale items or other gift vouchers.
Cancellation
Jen R Us reserves the right to cancel this certificate if necessary due to circumstances beyond our control.
Jen R Us reserves the right to cancel any Gift Certificate obtained fraudulently.
Jen R Us reserves the right to cancel this certificate for any misuse or violation of company total terms and conditions.
Certificates may be voided by Jen R Us if any alterations or unauthorized endorsements are detected.
In the event of a business closure or transition, outstanding certificates may be subject to cancellation.
Jen R Us may cancel this certificate if it’s found to be part of an unauthorized resale transaction.
Modification of Terms
Jen R Us can change the terms and conditions of any Gift Certificate at any time without prior notice.
Adjustments to the terms herein may occur, and continued use of any certificate constitutes acceptance of such changes.
Jurisdiction
All disputes related to this Gift Certificate will be resolved under the laws of Jamaica.
